AGIBOT and Resorts World Genting Join Forces to Showcase First Overseas Robotics Performance

More than 40 robots take the stage in a Wukong-inspired production ahead of its full debut in February 2027

Genting Highlands, Malaysia, September 32026AGIBOT and Resorts World Genting (RWG) have previewed the first overseas edition of AGIBOT’s robotics stage production, marking a new milestone in their strategic partnership. Held on August 29 at the Genting International Showroom, the exclusive preview featured more than 40 robots in a live production combining robotics, Chinese mythology and stage performance.

The collaboration follows the debut of AGIBOT’s robotics performance concept in China in February 2026. The Genting production is expected to make its full public debut in February 2027 as part of RWG’s entertainment offering.

At the center of the production is Wukong Never Fades, a five-chapter show inspired by the story of Sun Wukong, the Monkey King. Reimagined through robotics and live entertainment, the production brings elements of Chinese mythology and storytelling to the stage through movement, music and a cast of more than 40 robots.

The 1,000-seat Genting International Showroom was transformed for the preview, with AGIBOT robots taking on different roles throughout the performance. The production featured robots from AGIBOT’s X2, A3 and D1 series, combining robotic movement and interaction with traditional storytelling and stagecraft.

The collaboration builds on the strategic partnership between AGIBOT and RWG, formalized on April 17, 2026, at the AGIBOT Global Partner Conference (APC 2026) in Shanghai, where the two parties signed a memorandum of understanding to explore opportunities across theme parks, leisure, hospitality and entertainment. Just over four months later, the partnership has progressed from an initial agreement to a live guest-facing experience. With the robotics production set to become part of RWG’s future entertainment offering, the collaboration demonstrates how embodied AI and robotics can move beyond standalone technology showcases and become part of new forms of entertainment.

The preview offered an early look at what audiences can expect when the full production officially opens in February 2027. The expanded show will bring the world of Wukong to life on a larger scale, combining Chinese storytelling, robotics and immersive stagecraft as a new addition to RWG’s entertainment line-up.
